The Lore

The Ballad of $Rusty

Six verses, sung nightly in the village square. The wise will recognize every word.

I

The Day the Button Was Taken

In the dark times, the great green Buy Button was locked away in the fortress vault. The people could only watch the sell side. Sherwood remembers.

II

The Heist

A small tin outlaw zip-lined into the treasury and stole the Button back. He did not keep it. He never keeps anything. That is the whole point of him.

III

The King of Sherwood

A long-haired king rules from the castle. When the robed council summoned him to answer, his answers buffered. The village still does impressions.

IV

Cashcat, the Ancestor

Before the outlaw there was the golden cat — the name that almost was, the legend that ran. His shrine stands in the square. We honor. We do not compete.

V

The Banned Confetti

Every victory once rained confetti, until the council outlawed joy itself. Each arrow $Rusty looses brings a little of it back to the sky.

VI

The Fee Cart

The Sheriff still collects, coin by coin, cart by cart. The cart keeps getting robbed at dawn. The Sheriff keeps filing reports. Nobody reads them.

The Legend

The tale keeps telling itself

The curve fills, $RUSTY graduates to Uniswap, and the story simply won't quit — every quiet day becomes a meme, every meme becomes more of the legend. What comes next? Even the outlaw doesn't know; he rides where the arrows land. Half the fun is not knowing.

No promises. Only arrows.
